GBA Concert Hall

This month, we continue to bring you performances by students of The Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts, some of whom have come from Macau, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. In the programme, they perform Western and Chinese music together with arranged and new compositions.

The “GBA Concert Hall” also includes: Chinese tunes from Guangzhou brought to you by Hong Kong dizi player Ricky Yeung along with his wife – plucked string player Sha Jingshan; Lin Daye conducting the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra in Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony and Symphony No. 5; “The Four Seasons of Classicism” – a piano trio concert from Shenzhen Concert Hall; and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra directed by Yu Long in the chamber version of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 (soprano solo: Guo Sen), and Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 (pianist: Zhang Haochen).

大灣區音樂廳

12月份的「大灣區音樂廳」有來自香港、澳門、廣州、深圳等地區的香港演藝學院的學生送上中樂、西樂、改編，以及新創作，還有吹奏笛子的楊偉傑及其太太琵琶演奏家沙涇珊的演出。另外林大葉會領導深圳交響樂團獻上蕭斯達高維契的室樂交響曲及第五交響曲；也有來自深圳音樂廳的一場鋼琴三重奏音樂會「古典主義的春夏秋冬」；最後則有余隆指揮廣州交響樂團，分別聯同女高音郭森及鋼琴家張昊辰演釋馬勒的第四交響曲的室樂版本及布拉姆斯的第二鋼琴協奏曲。
