GBA Concert Hall大灣區音樂廳

This month, we have traditional Western vocal, piano music, and large-scale symphony, together with modern Chinese composition.

Conductor Lin Daye will lead the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra to play Mahler’s grand and deep-feel Symphony No. 6, ‘Tragic’. This year marks the 111th birthday of violinist and composer Ma Sicong. His student, Lin Yaoji, was the teacher of Zhang Jingye. In memory of Ma, Zhang will team up with pianist Zhou Jing to perform Ma’s composition in a concert of the ‘Kaleidoscope Greater Bay Area’ series. Tenor Li Biao and pianist Hu Xuesha will collaborate to perform famous songs and piano solos in ‘Beautiful Sunday’ hosted by Shenzhen Concert Hall. Supported by the China National Arts Fund, the Hong Kong City Chinese Orchestra will conduct a series of lectures, a seminar, and a concert tour in the Greater Bay Area to present modern Chinese music composition.

林大葉領導的深圳交響樂團會送上馬勒既深沉又大型的第六交響曲「悲劇」。今年是小提琴家兼作曲家馬思聰誕生一百一十一週年，馬思聰的學生林耀基是張精冶的老師。為紀念馬思聰，張精冶在「灣區聲閃耀系列」其中一場音樂會，將聯同鋼琴家周靜送上多首馬思聰的創作。男高音李彪夥拍鋼琴家胡雪莎於深圳音樂廳主辦的「美麗星期天」演繹多首經典動人的歌曲及鋼琴獨奏作品。香港城巿中樂團則於本年獲得國家藝術基金資助，舉行一系列講座及在大灣區巡迴演出多首近代中樂創作。
