Chen Xieyang was to conduct one of Zhu Jian'er's orchestral works with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and pay tribute to his late father with one of his love songs which Chen arranged for the orchestra
    9.10 am Asian Youth Orchestra founder and conductor Richard Pontzious on how the AYO has a hand in shaping the musical youth of Asia, the 2019 orchestra, the soloists for this year's tour (Moné Hattori, violin and Rachel Cheung, piano), the 2 programmes to be presented, and about French-Swiss conductor Joseph Bastian joining the team (former bass trombonist of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks)
