Classics Channel
Since 1999, Radio 4 has been broadcasting a unique and very popular English Language teaching programme Songbirds for local students. At the heart of the programme was a weekly radio drama, written by Dino Mahoney, about the lives of a group of Hong Kong students. The drama follows a group of characters who experience the joys and difficulties of being a teenager and young adults. Most of the characters acted by local students, teachers and lecturers.
