本節目調查使用棉條的潛在風險。世界各地的經期中毒性休克綜合症個案有上升趨勢，因此綜合症而與死神擦身而過的女性會在節目中說出她們的故事。有賴獨立的調查和測試，製作團隊發現棉條的成分中，含有二噁英——一種被世界衛生組織列為引起重大公共衞生關注的化學品。

雖然女性一生之中平均用上11,000條棉條，但時至今日談論這種產品的忌諱仍然存在。製在團隊到美國、荷蘭、法國以及比利時等地，訪問科學家以及受經期中毒性休克綜合症影響的人。

Tampon, Our Closest Enemy

This is an International investigation about dangers of the tampons. Cases of menstrual toxic shocks are increasing around the world and woman that have been close to death are witnessing. Thanks to independant studies and tests, we know now that tampons contain dioxicis, toxic components, among 10 the most dangerous chemicals classified by the WHO. 

However, a real taboo surounds this product, while women use an average of 11K tampons in their lives. We travel to the US, Netherlands, France, Belgium to meet scientifists and victims.
