On this Saturday's Money Talk Xtra on Radio 3, from 8:30 a.m., Peter Lewis will take a look at financial planning for millennials and why it’s important to start taking care of your finances when you're young. The earlier you start saving, whether it be for a home, children’s education or retirement, the better off you will be. Managing your finances for the first time and trying to deal with debts from education, saving for big ticket items such as housing and achieving long-term goals can be a daunting prospect. To give us some tips on how to do it, Peter Lewis was joined by Philip Howell-Williams, Financial Consultant, Infinity Financial Solutions.

For parents, bringing up a child is an 18-year commitment with different financial needs arising at various stages of your child’s life. Our listener Marc is a father of two. He came on to Money Talk Xtra and spoke with Jimmy Lam about his planning. To help with his family’s plan for the future, Jimmy Lam also went to speak to Joyce Ng, Director at Fulbright Financial Group.
