On this programme, we focus on Hong Kong's first five-year plan and the policy address delivered by Chief Executive John Lee.
A panel of experts join the show to talk about the plan to advance the housing and economic development of the Northern Metropolis, with a target of building over 70,000 housing units in the coming five years, while the residential unit size requirements will also be raised.
The government also aims to increase the public housing supply to 196,000 flats in the next five years, so the waiting time for public housing can be shortened to less than four years by 2030.
After the break, we'll discuss how authorities plan to speed up the development of three university towns in the Northern Metropolis. They will be located in San Tin, Hung Shui Kiu and Ta Kwu Ling, and each one will have a distinct focus that encompasses the five elements of education, technology, industry, talent and urban development.
