Dear Mr. Yang,
I've send some documents to someone by email, the recipient returned mail by saying
that " well received with thanks", is this sentence correct? pls advise.
thank you and best regards

' Received with thanks ' is enough .
Not necessary to have the 'well'

Dear Mr. Yang,
If I say "We can't shirk our responsibility", is the verb "shirk" too formal in oral
English?
Should it be used in written English only?
If yes, please tell me which verb
should be use in conversational English for the this meaning?
Thanks a lot

'Shirk' is fine for spoken and written English .

Dear Mr. Yang,
Would you pls tell me the difference between these 2 words:
disrupt, disturb
thanks & regards
Kat

|
一般來說 :
Disrupt : 破壞性較大
Disturb : 只是打擾,搞亂或妨礙.
eg, disturb my sleep , 很少銳 disrupt my sleep
eg , disturb or distrupt his work process 都可以,看破壞性有多大
