Space economy roundtable meeting / Gaza Board of Peace

On Thursday's programme, we began with a discussion on the new space economy. The Chief Executive's Policy Unit recently hosted a high-level roundtable to discuss boosting development in this area, in alignment with the nation's development plan.
After the break, we turned our attention to Gaza. US President Donald Trump has been lobbying world leaders to join his so-called 'Board of Peace' for the besieged enclave, which the US leader says he may chair for life. We heard from a former British politician and a scholar on the issue.

    World Obesity Day / Oscars

    主持人:Tony Sabine and Mike Rowse

On Tuesday's Backchat, we’re discussing the dangers of obesity, as it marks World Obesity Day.

The Hong Kong Obesity Society is urging parents to better monitor their childrens’ lifestyle, warning that 20 percent of Hong Kong students are at risk of overweight.
The society — alongside Asiehep — also raised the alarm bell on the prevalence of fatty liver disease, of which obesity remains the main cause.
So how do obesity rates – here in Hong Kong – compare to the rest of the world? And to what extent is mental health playing a part?
After 9:45, we delve into this year's Oscars.
