Beijing "Two Sessions" meeting opening / Resumption of searches for flight MH370: 11 years on

    主持人:Tony Sabine and Philip Wong

In the first part of Wednesday's programme, we talk about the "Two Sessions" gathering.

Thousands of political elites and lawmakers arrived in the country's capital to discuss the country’s policy trajectory, with economics, trade and artificial intelligence expected to be high on the agenda.
This year’s meeting comes as US President Donald Trump reinforced his trade war by doubling tariffs on Chinese imports to 20 percent, prompting the Finance Ministry in Beijing to retaliate with additional 15 percent levies on some US goods.
After 9:30, we discuss the resumption of searches for flight MH370, which went missing 11 years ago, in what remains modern aviation’s greatest mystery. Are we getting closer to knowing what happened?
