Europe's heatwave / Kennedy Town waterfront promenade plan / Former US Fed chair Alan Greenspan dies aged 100 / Government to reduce high-liquid waste

On this programme, we speak to a weather expert about a record-breaking heatwave that gripped parts of Europe for over a week. France reported over 1,000 deaths as the mercury surged over 40 degrees Celsius at one point.

Then, we look at a government plan to build a water promenade in Kennedy Town. The project is expected to start in 2028.

After the break, we look back at the influence of American economist and former chair of the US Federal Reserve Alan Greenspan, who passed away last month at the age of 100.

And to wrap up the show, we learn all about the city's efforts to reduce the disposal of bulk high liquid content waste, such as beverages, sauces, ice-cream and shower gels, into the city’s landfills.
