On Wednesday's Backchat, we talk about kids and internet addiction.
A new survey of primary and secondary school students found almost a third of them had recently played video-games non-stop for more than five-hours; while almost half admitted to hours-long online video-watching sessions.
Researchers say around 12 percent of respondents had symptoms of internet addiction, and there was a high incidence of depression, anxiety and stress among the students polled.
So how worried should we be? Is gaming just a new norm among youngsters? How should parents deal with their screen-obsessed kids, or are adults just part of the problem?
After 9:50am, we get reaction to the government's recruitment schemes that's just received 100-thousand applications.
