On Wednesday’s programme, we looked into the Hospital Authority's new charges and fees.
Taking effect in three phases from January 1, the healthcare fee reform will charge Accident & Emergency patients according to the severity of their condition. It will also cap charges at HK$10,000 per year for each patient.
Following the break, we spoke to the Hong Kong Red Cross about its three to five-year relief plan to support victims of the Tai Po blaze, after it received more than HK$400 million in donations.
And lastly, American billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s once-ambitious dream of creating a virtual world - the Metaverse - is facing challenges. He's reportedly planning to cut the division’s budget by up to 30 percent after it recorded losses.
