Brunch with Noreen is packed full of radio goodness. We've got human interest stories, social issues, wellness, the latest on what’s happening around Hong Kong, and plenty of your favourite music.
It's Monday's Brunch with Noreen, and we're bringing you some great music and guests to start your week. After 10, on Trash Talk this week we're looking at how food and beverage takeout has become part of our lives here in Hong Kong - leading to more plastic waste. Woody Chan, Senior CSR & Sustainability Manager at Foodpanda, and Helga Vanthournout, founder at Wealth Of Flows Consulting tell us about a new reuseable takeout box FoodPanda is trialling here in Hong Kong. At 11.10 we're joined by Saadia Usmani for this week's 'Chinwag'. Today we're talking about whether we’re actually buying the right toys for our children. Finally at 11.40, we'll hear about Women In Sports Empowered Hong Kong, in short, 'WISE' for short; one of the charities we are supporting for OSC 2022. WISE is a charity that aims to empower teenage girls to get more active for their health and wellbeing, and supports girls to develop positive mindsets and prevent the act of bullying. Alyson Hau spoke to founder Alicia Lui to learn more about what they do, and their OSC project – 'Yeah! Girls Stand Up!' Do get in touch with your song requests and comments on Facebook.
Welcome to Wednesday's Brunch with Noreen. After 10, Cruz Macalligan is with us for our mid-week audio column. This week she'll talk about dungarees. Its aim is to promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), in the hope of unleashing the potential of our community and future generations.
