This week on Lion Rockers, Noreen chats with Professor Malik Peiris, renowned virologist and the first person to isolate the SARS virus in 2002. Professor Peiris is currently the Chair Professor of Virology at the School of Public Health at the University of Hong Kong, and he shares how he went from being a medical doctor to finding his passion in virology. He also talks about wanting to become an astronaut when he was little and his first impressions of Hong Kong when he first came in 1995.
