Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

After a week off, Paul and Carolyn return for a packed Sunday Escape, featuring all the finest of the week's new music, plus plenty more besides. This week that includes brand new tracks from The Smile, Sleater-Kinney, Chemtrails, J Mascis, Gruff Rhys, Pillow Queens, Hurray For The Riff Raff and loads more.
It's a lot quieter on the album front, a trend that will continue now for the rest of the year, but the Pop Fugitives will make up for that with plenty of older tracks as part of their regular features. This week that includes a brilliant cover version, a celebration of a re-release by New Order via Carolyn, one of Paul's favourite songs from a now retired band.Plus, a relatively obscure artist sweeps the nation.
The week also sees the long-awaited return of the Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz, and of course there are biscuits! Tune in on Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
