Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

Paul and Carolyn are back for another Sunday Escape, once again playing all he best in new and independent music. This week that includes songs from Picture Parlour, Yannis & The Yaw, Bacchae, Nilüfer Yanya, Cults, Sondre Lerche, and Nick Lowe (who just announced his first new album in 11 years), plus tracks from newly-released albums from John Grant and The Decemberists. There’ll be a few older tracks in the show too, including one in tribute to French pop and fashion icon Francoise Hardy who sadly passed away this week.
In the regular features there’s a brooding cover version of a Duran Duran song by Valerie June plus there’s a brand new and fairly challenging Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz. That is of course joined by plenty of chat along with more biscuits.
