    The Brew

    簡介

    GIST

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Robbie McRobbie – Rugby / Tim Huxley – Japanese Grand Prix / Neil Runcieman – Live from Paris

Welcome to a sunny Monday on The Brew. Robbie McRobbie is going to be our roving rugby guy today, as he'll be reporting live from the Asian Games in Hangzhou, where he's supporting his teams. Tracy Quan can't be with us this week so at 12.40 our motor sports man, Tim Huxley, will give you his 10 cents on the past weekend's Japanese Grand Prix. Then, at 1.25 we're off to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. No, really! That's where our Bureau Chief-at-large Neil Runcieman will be this week... earning his 'at-large' moniker. Join him on Facebook live if you can.

Neil Tomes – Chef / Paul Archibald - Trumpet player extraordinaire

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Welcome to Wednesday the wet... here on The Brew. Chris Watts is busy today, so he'll be with us tomorrow for more pain and gain. Instead, today, we'll welcome back the one and only Chef Neil Tomes. Today, he's jobbing somewhere in Hong Kong, and we'll be talking...meat! Join him on Facebook live if you can. Then, at 1.25, trumpet virtuoso to the stars, Paul Archibald, will be with us again for more 'classical' music. Live from Bangkok, he'll be taking all about one of the true unsung heroes of the string family, and how in the right hands it can be very... 'sung', indeed. Every weekday - except public holidays - 12 midday until 2 - only on Radio 3.
