    簡介

    GIST

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Tracy Quan – Columnist / Philippe Dova – RTL France’s Tokyo Correspondent / Paul Archibald – Classical music

Welcome to Wednesday, and your hump day Brew. Our NYC correspondent, Tracy Quan, will be back at 12.10, and in the immortal words of... Bananarama, "Robert De Niro's waiting". Well, he was, outside the New York courtroom in which a certain trial has been happening. So, today there's no choice but to mention 'you know who'. Caveat emptor! RTL France's Philippe Dova will deliver your slice of fromage at 12.40, and today he wants to introduce you to a brand new album by one of his favourite French artists, Nicolas Peyrac. Wednesday is always 'classical' music day on The Brew, and at 1.25 Paul Archibald will be with you, live from Bangkok. Over the past few hundred years, certain compositions have come with all sorts of myth and superstition, and that's exactly what he'll explore today through some wonderful recordings.

Every weekday afternoon from 12 until 2... Only on Radio 3

Morris Miselowski – Business Futurism / Jarrod Watt – Aussie journalist / Dr Merrin Pearse and Professor Jonathan Fong – Fungi

    主持人:Phil Whelan

G'day. It's Tuesday, and mostly-Aussie day, on The Brew. Our biz futurist Morris Miselowski will be joining us as usual at 12.10. Everyone has heard of fintech (or financial technology), but what about sportstech? It's a huge industry, and in fact in Australia alone, sportstech values now rival those of fintech. So, today: The future of sport... wherever that takes us. Jarrod Watt returns at 12.40 with this week's news bits and some great music from Down Under. Today at 1.25, Dr. Merrin Pearse will be talking about fungi with Professor Jonathan Fong. Jon is part of the Science Unit at Lingnan University, and he's very interested in understanding the patterns and processes that shape biodiversity.

Join Merrin and Jon on Facebook live as well. Every weekday - except public holidays - 12 midday until 2 - only on Radio 3.
