    The Brew

    簡介

    GIST

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Morris Miselowski - Future industries / Neil Runcieman - Vietnam

Welcome to Another Tuesday Brew. Today’s big question is, 'what does our biz futurist Morris Miselowski actually do?' as at the moment a lot of industries are talking to people like Morris about their future. Do some of them feel they are about to miss out on something? Do they maybe feel ill-prepared? We'll find out. At 12:40 Jarrod Watt Gives you all the latest from Down Under, with some smoking new Aussie music. Then, at 1:25 we are off to Vietnam to catch up with Bureau Chief-at-large Neil Runcieman, live from Ho Chi Minh City. Merrin Pearse was with us yesterday, just for this week, and you can see what he had to say on our Facebook page. Join Neil their live as usual this afternoon.

Robbie McRobbie – Rugby / Chris Watts – Motion Dynamics / Leanne Nicholls – Symphony of New Worlds

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Welcome to a wet and getting wetter Monday here on The Brew. It's perfect rugby weather, so Robbie McRobbie will be with you at his usual time of 12.10, with all the latest. Chris Watts is with us at 12.40 to fix your 'training zones', so stick around and join him on Facebook live if you can. He'll happily answer any questions you may have about, well, anything really. Neil Runcieman is busy today, so he'll be back next week. Instead, at 1.25 we'll be finding out all about a very cool French May event called 'Symphony of New Worlds'. It's a wonderful combo of music and movement styles from around the world. It involves two orchestras as well, one of them being the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. Our friend (and CCOHK boss) Leanne Nicholls will fill you in. And... as The Peninsula Hotel is the lead sponsor for this event, you can win dinner for two at 'Felix' today, as well. Listen out for the question so simple that even Phil knows the answer, and email your answer, and your phone number, to radio3@rthk.hk. As usual, we'll pick a name from the hat near the end of today's Brew (clue: brush up on your Pen history).
