Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Happy Wednesday. On today's Brew we'll catch up with our New York correspondent Tracy Quan at 12:10. She's rushing back from some mid-week NYC artiness for our regular midnight chat. At 12:40 RTL France's man in Asia, Philippe Dova, joins us from Cambodia, and he'll introduce you to a great new French rocker whom he met and talked with in Siem Reap last weekend. Then, at 1:25, resident brasshat Paul Archibald has a very indulgent 'classical' music day for you. He's going to talk all about superhero opera singers with a trip back to the 90s to listen to Carreras, Pavarotti, and Domingo in concert... aka 'The Three Tenors'.

Welcome to your Wednesday Brew, where everything is more or less back to normal. We're off to New York at 12:10 to do the Harris Wal(t)z with Tracy Quan, and spend a night at the museum examining sleeves… as you do! Philippe Dova is still in France enjoying his holiday, so he will be back in a week or two. At 1:25 today, it’s the return of 'classical'music day with Paul Archibald. It still has an Olympics flavour, as he wants to talk about, and play you, some music by the great masters that was specifically written for occasions of this nature.
