    簡介

    GIST

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Tim Huxley - Macau Grand Prix week / Neil Runcieman - Vietnam

Welcome to the start of two busy sporting weeks here on Radio 3. On today's Brew, we'll welcome motorsport magnate Tim Huxley at 12:10, as it's officially Macau Grand Prix week. Then, at 1:25, we're off to Ho Chi Minh City for this week's Vietnam report from Neil Runcieman. One of the big discussion points there right now is how Trump’s election may signal an economic bonanza for Vietnam. Join Neil on Facebook live if you can.

Tim Huxley - luxury bruum / John Duffus - running the Lloyd Webber empire / Neil Runcieman - the President’s world tour

    主持人:Phil Whelan

It's World Standards Day today, so The Brew will be doing its bit keeping things down to standard until 2. At 12.10, Chief Petrol Head Tim Huxley will be with you for some luxury bruum bruum. At 12:40, a quick trip to Bangkok to catch up again with author John Duffus. You may remember a couple of weeks ago, John told us all about his new book 'Backstage in Hong Kong', with all sorts of wonderful stories about his time living here as a manager of the arts. Today, in a sort of 'part two', John will tell us all about his time running the Lloyd Webber empire here. Then, at 1:25, Neil Runcieman joins us from Vietnam to tell you all about how the President’s world tour was actually more profitable than Taylor Swift’s, and also he has some nonsense about 'the apostrophe'. Catch Neil on Facebook live if you can.

Every weekday afternoon from 12 until 2... Only on Radio 3
