Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Welcome to The Brew this Thursday. We'll jump straight in from the left edge after the news with more awesome 'Brewed in HK' tracks, as always created by the top talent of Hong Kong Kong Mark Rawson joins us with his selection of the week. Apparently "The double standards between cat and dog owners need to change!". That’s according to an Australian newspaper article. Our vet Dr David Gething will be here to chew that one over at 12:40. As always, do ask him any questions you may have on our Facebook page. James Ross in for Phil today, and we kick-off with news from the weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix as we check-in with our motor sports guru, Tim Huxley. Max Verstappen (photo) didn't win the race, but he's confirmed as the winner of the 2024 Driver's Chamionship. After the one o'clock news we'll set course for Ho Chi Minh city to catch up with Bureau Chief-at-large Neil Runcieman, as we talk All Things Vietnamese. Plus, of course, the best in music through until 2pm.
