In fact, although different kinds of food have their own benefits, there are still some don’ts for their consumption. This programme uses food ingredients as an entry point to promote healthy diet and knowledge on how to stay healthy. It also teaches us how to choose quality food ingredients and prepare appealing dishes that are rich in colour, aroma and taste.

    Every lady wants to look gorgeous, doesn’t it? If you are asked to pick a kind of food that you think it would “make you look better” instantly after consumption, what will be your choice? Jennifer YU, a Best Actress Award winner, is a big fan of “fish maw”. She always has fish maw for nourishment when she is staying up late in normal days, or even after giving birth to her baby. Fish maw is rich in protein and collagen, making it a boon to women. In this episode, Chef Will will use this valuable food ingredient to prepare a “double-boiled fish maw soup with hairy figs” for the guests’ nourishment. On the other hand, the “Food Fanatic” will pay a visit to Tai O to learn about how local people in the old days sun-dry fish maw and tips for picking quality fish maw.

      There is a food ingredient that is rich in plant protein, but you need not worry about having the uric acid problem caused by excessive intake of purine. This ace card for health is “tofu”! The “Food Fanatics” of this programme will take us to a local traditional tofu workshop to learn about the production process of tofu, while the chef host will teach us how to make a simple tofu dish that is healthy and presentable on social media. We have also invited two guests – Mrs Lisa FONG, the veteran host of cooking shows, and Dr WU Che-yuen Justin, Specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology – to share their health tips while enjoying their meal.
