A Dog’s Purpose follows a devoted dog’s soul as it is reborn through several lives, each time learning more about love, loyalty, and the meaning of existence. First known as Bailey, a playful golden retriever, he forms a deep bond with a boy named Ethan and accompanies him through childhood and change. Across different lifetimes, the dog meets new owners, comforts lonely people, protects loved ones, and helps heal broken hearts. Eventually, he returns to Ethan, now older and alone, and guides him back toward love, happiness, and purpose. The film celebrates the enduring bond between humans and dogs.
