Summary of the Speech:
- Talked about how you need to be careful with books, but with books that you own, you can feel free to mark them.
- The importance of a bookshelf that had easy access (no glass doors and locks).
- Good to start your own private library at youth.
- Explained why books are good friends.
Some Important Parts of the Speech:
Books are for use, not for show; you should own no book that you are afraid to mark up, or afraid to place on the table, wide open and face down. A good reason for marking favorite passages in books is that this practice enables you to remember more easily the significant sayings, to refer to them quickly, and then in later years, it is like visiting a forest where you once blazed a trail.

Scenario 1
Can you tell us about yourself? Can you introduce yourself?
我是一位中六學生，就讀於ABC中學。
I am a Form 6 student at ABC Secondary School.
我自小學一年級起學習畫畫，尤其喜歡中國水墨畫。
I have started to learn drawing since I was in P1. I especially like Chinese brush painting.
我自小對平面設計充滿興趣，
I have been interested in Graphic Design since I was a child.
曾經在學期間為不少學會創作海報、校刋等等的封面。
(Tell the interviewer about your experiences.)
During my school years, I helped to design posters and school magazine covers.
我希望修讀這個課程，因為我畢業後想當一位平面設計師，而我相信這個課程可以令我更上一層樓。
I hope to be accepted to this program because I want to be a graphic designer after graduation and I believe this program will enable me to become a great designer.

我發現音樂除了可以陶冶性情，更加可以治療人心。
I found that music can not only cultivate temperament, but also has therapeutic effect. (healing people’s hearts)
以往我唔少演出經驗，曾經為ABC管弦樂團的團員。
