Second phase of the Gaza ceasefire / Softbank's selling of Nvidia shares / Hotels supporting Tai Po fire victims / 2026 World Cup draw

On Wednesday's programme, we started off with the latest on Gaza. Although a precarious ceasefire with Hamas remains in place, Israel continues to launch targeted strikes in the besieged enclave, killing hundreds since the truce was struck. We heard from experts on the challenges being faced in talks on the second phase of the ceasefire.

After that, we learned about last month's decision by Softbank to sell off its shares in Nvidia to bank roll its AI investment in the US - namely in the Stargate Project.

After the break, we spoke to the executive director of the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners about how some hotels opened its doors and provided accommodation for residents affected by the Tai Po blaze.

And finally, we wrapped up the programme with a look at the highly anticipated 2026 World Cup draw, which was announced last week.

Attracting enterprises / Employment situation in Hong Kong

    主持人:Danny Gittings and Rainbow Leung

On Thursday's programme, we looked into what Hong Kong is doing to attract creative industries.
At a ceremony earlier this week, Financial Secretary Paul Chan announced that the administration aims to draw in more cultural enterprises and promote collaboration between the arts and technology sectors.
This follows the establishment of 80 strategic enterprises in Hong Kong over the past two years, with estimates suggesting they could bring up to HK$50 billion in investment and create over 20,000 jobs. How can Hong Kong enhance its role in this area? Are additional measures needed to help the SAR navigate potential uncertainties surrounding the trade war?
After 9:30, we discussed the latest pay trend predictions and employment outlook.

    9:05am-9:30am: Attracting enterprises

9:05am-9:30am: Esme Pau, Head of Capital Markets and Strategic Intelligence at Certik
