    High Seas Treaty / Police drone patrols expanding / Kadoorie Farm's "Nature Treasure Hunt"

    On Friday's programme, we began the show by talking to some environment scholars about the High Seas Treaty that came into effect this month. The treaty provides countries with a legally binding framework to tackle threats like overfishing and meet the target of protecting 30 percent of oceans by 2030.
    After the break, we looked at efforts to bolster law enforcement in Hong Kong. The police will expand their drone patrol programme to the Peak, Cheung Chau and Lamma Island to enhance crime prevention, crowd control and traffic monitoring capabilities.
    Wrapping up our programme, we talked to a wildlife rehabilitation expert from the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden about the park's latest project to promote nature conservation.

    Huanggang checkpoint redevelopment / Tech to boost film industry cashflow

    On Tuesday's Backchat, we learnt more about how the new facilities at the Huanggang Port are expected to streamline travel between Hong Kong and the mainland, with a joint-inspection mechanism in the pipeline.

    Experts explained how the revamped border control point would be even more efficient than the other options currently available to travellers.

    After the break, we talked about plans by the legal sector to unlock more investment for the television and movie industries. We looked at how people in the film-making business can use technology and innovation to boost growth.
