The rise of prediction markets / Cyberport's new AI one-stop service / Legacy of late fashion icon Valentino

On Monday's programme, we looked at the rise in prediction markets. Betting platforms signing with major sports leagues have raked in some 150 billion dollars in 2024, while prediction market firms have been signing huge deals with Wall Street. One of the major firms, Polymarket, has opened up betting on everything, including politics, and now even the US housing market. Where is the trend going and what does this all spell for US society at large?
After the break, we talked to the head of Business Development of Cyberport to learn more about a new platform they launched which combines Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Cybersecurity, offering one-stop services to tech companies.
