On Thursday's programme, we looked back at the anti-Trump protests that took place across the United States. Organisers said millions of people took part in major cities, including New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles. The demonstrators protested against recent policies of US President Donald Trump, ranging from ICE members rounding up immigrants alleged to be in the country illegally, to executive orders dismantling the federal government. Mr Trump, for his part, accused the protesters of being linked with the far-left Antifa movement.
In the second half of the show, we talked to an aircraft engineer and learned more about the challenges and safety protocols involved when planes land. This follows a deadly accident earlier in the week when a cargo plane veered off the runway and collided with a security patrol vehicle and pushed it into the sea, killing two people inside. The four crews in the aircraft escaped unharmed.
Lastly, we learned more about the brazen heist on the world's most renowned museum - the Louvre. It took just minutes for the the thieves to make off with over 100 million US dollars in jewels. The museum has reopened to visitors in Paris, but the thieves remain at large.
