Increasing student accomodation demand / 2.04 percent hike for public housing rent / French far-right leader Marine Le Pen's presidential bid / Therapist training for SEN children

On this programme, we inspect the rental housing market and how demand for student lodging is intensifying in the city even as more accommodation comes onto the market.

We then have more property talk, and hear from a lawmaker on why the Housing Authority's Subsidised Housing Committee recently approved a 2.04 percent rent increase for public rental housing.

After the break, we turn our attention over to the French presidential election after far-right leader Marine Le Pen confirmed she was still standing for the top job next year. It follows an appeals court upheld her embezzlement conviction but paved the way for her to run with a shorter ban from office.

And to wrap up the show, a representative of a local NGO tells us more about their project which trains volunteers to become therapists for SEN children from low-income households.

We heard from experts on the challenges being faced in talks on the second phase of the ceasefire.

After that, we learned about last month's decision by Softbank to sell off its shares in Nvidia to bank roll its AI investment in the US - namely in the Stargate Project.

After the break, we spoke to the executive director of the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners about how some hotels opened its doors and provided accommodation for residents affected by the Tai Po blaze.
