Apple's new CEO / New York mayor Zohran Mamdani's 100 days in office / HKBU's Centre for Exercise Science and Medicine opening / Primary students sleep survey

On this programme, we start by examining the recent leadership change at tech giant Apple, after Tim Cook announced he'll step down from his role as the company's CEO in September. He makes way for John Ternus, the company's long time hardware chief.

After that, we turn our attention to New York City , where the city's youngest mayor Zohran Mamdani recently completed 100 days in office, whilst maintaining high approval ratings. From making bus rides free, to delivering universal, free healthcare for children, we look at how Mr Mamdani's success is driving ratings for the democrats ahead of the midterms.

After the break, we take a closer look at the Hong Kong Baptist University’s Centre for Exercise Science and Medicine that opened last week, featuring state-of-the-art facilities for research in sports science.

And to wrap up the show, we learn how students can get more sleep after a survey found that 83 percent of primary school students get 8.8 hours of sleep a day, falling below international standard.

Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro captured in US strike / China banned forced lowest prices on e-commerce platforms / DeepSeek's new AI model

    Presenters:Azam Khan and Ada Wong

On Tuesday's programme, we talked about the ongoing Venezuelan saga, where US President Donald Trump has warned of more military strikes if the country's interim leaders refuse to obey Washington. It comes comes as doctors in Caracas have said that about 70 people were killed when US forces raided the city and captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife. Mr Trump meanwhile has made it clear that he wants US oil companies to go in and rebuild the South American country. Where does the current Venezuelan leadership go from here, and what are the wider implications for the region?
After the break, we heard about new rules unveiled by Beijing to rein in aggressive pricing tactics by online platforms. One of the ways it plans to do this is to stop e-commerce operators from forcing merchants to offer discounts.
