    Increasing student accomodation demand / 2.04 percent hike for public housing rent / French far-right leader Marine Le Pen's presidential bid / Therapist training for SEN children

    On this programme, we inspect the rental housing market and how demand for student lodging is intensifying in the city even as more accommodation comes onto the market.

    We then have more property talk, and hear from a lawmaker on why the Housing Authority's Subsidised Housing Committee recently approved a 2.04 percent rent increase for public rental housing.

    After the break, we turn our attention over to the French presidential election after far-right leader Marine Le Pen confirmed she was still standing for the top job next year. It follows an appeals court upheld her embezzlement conviction but paved the way for her to run with a shorter ban from office.

    And to wrap up the show, a representative of a local NGO tells us more about their project which trains volunteers to become therapists for SEN children from low-income households.

    On this programme, we first focus on the situation in Venezuela, where numerous nations, including China, are sending aid and special teams to assist the South American country that was rocked by two major earthquakes last week. Rescuers are working around the clock to find survivors, as interim President Delcy Rodriguez has called for national unity through the difficult times.
    We then learn more about the dangers of of keeping rare animals as pets, after an injured juvenile crocodile was found on the balcony of a Sham Shui Po flat.
    After the break, we find out how accepting specific language proficiency results in Urdu and Hindi of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination will foster multilingualism and broaden career options for students.
    And to wrap up the show, we hear from our AI consultant after China's supercomputer "Lineshine" surpassed its US counterpart, topping the world's supercomputer ranking.
