    Five-Year Plan proposals by Nick Chan / Proposals on turning the SAR into green mega-event capital / LEAP East 2026 / Hong Kong Palace Museum's summer events

    On this programme, we hear from a lawmaker on how the establishment of the International Organization for Mediation will consolidate Hong Kong's position as an international legal and dispute resolution services centre, and align itself with the SAR's first Five-Year Plan.

    Then, we chat with a local think tank on their latest research on reducing carbon across large-scale arts and culture, sports, and MICE events.

    After the break, we look back at LEAP East 2026 that was held in the SAR last week. The three-day event brought together 450 exhibitors and over 35,000 visitors from 30 countries and regions.

    On this programme, we kick-off at the World Cup, where US President Donald Trump sparked outrage by asking Fifa to review Folarin Balogun's World Cup red card.

    We then chat with a lawmaker about the government’s proposed overhaul of Hong Kong’s sexual offence laws. The sweeping updates include introducing new crimes, creating a uniform age of consent at 16, removing gender-specific language, and increasing penalties.
    After the break, we learn all about a survey that examined the training and development needs of employees under AI-driven transformation.
    And finally, we get an expert's take on the recent national elections in Latin America, most recently Keiko Fujimori's path to the Peruvian presidency.
