The Hospital Authority is sending a delegation to certain medical colleges in the UK, where many Hong Kong students are studying, in the hope of addressing a current shortage of medical personnel at home.

And the HA Chief Executive, Tony Ko, will attend an event held by the Hong Kong Medical Society of the United Kingdom on Saturday in London to explain details of how overseas doctors could practise in the SAR. The next day there'll be a recruitment day for medical students, interns, and trainees as well as specialists.

After 9:45, we’re going to be talking about an adoption programme for abandoned exotic pets, including lizards, geckos and turtles.

According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, New York and Singapore jointly topped the rankings, with Tel Aviv coming third.
The EIU said the average cost of living was up 8.1% in 172 major cities worldwide – the fastest rate for at least 20 years, citing the Russia-Ukraine conflict, rising interest rates and exchange-rate shifts.
And at 9.20am, we'll be joined by RTHK sports reporter Atom Cheung with the latest on the soccer World Cup 2022.
