Eco-tourism / Community dispute resolution scheme

    主持人:Jim Gould and Ada Wong

    On Tuesday’s Backchat, we’re talking about eco-tourism.
The government is planning to launch new eco-tours to promote the territory’s biodiversity to locals and visitors.
They are due to launch early next year, and will give nature lovers a chance to explore the territory's country's parks, outlying islands and other ecological attractions.
The authorities are also planning to expand the number of wetland parks at a time when policymakers face increased pressure to strike a balance between urban development and conservation.
So how much can eco-tourism contribute to the economy? And can the countryside cope with more visitors?
After 9:45, we’re talking about an upcoming scheme aimed at resolving community disputes, without having to go through the court system.
