'Brunch' is packed full of radio goodness. We've got human interest stories, social issues, wellness, the latest on what’s happening around Hong Kong, and plenty of your favourite music.
On Thursday’s Brunch, just after 10:30am Cruz is joined by jewellery designer, gem expert and storyteller Tayma Page Allies to explore the enduring allure of pearls — from Hong Kong’s fascinating pearl heritage and the beauty of rare Keshi pearls to why these remarkable gems have captivated people across cultures for centuries. This week on Check-In at 11, Alishiba Matloob speaks with Neesha Jhaveri, a Kathak performer, and Pasha Umer, a Uyghur dance performer, about RASA: A Cross-Cultural Journey of Music, Dance, and the Human Spirit—and what the project means to them as artists.

On Brunch on Wednesday April 8th, we’re talking art, access to healthcare, and weight management. At 10:30 a.m., we’re talking memory, family, and the spaces in between with Hong Kong artist Betty Jiu, whose new exhibition I remember you with wind in your hair at Hidden Space in Kwai Hing brings together text, video and photography in an intimate and reflective way. Then at 11:00 a.m., we will hear about access to healthcare and how something as simple as language can make a huge difference. Yasir Luqman, a registered pharmacist and founder of Multicultural Health Services will be talking about breaking down barriers for the Pakistani community in Hong Kong through his work, including the Medi Help project. And at 11:30 a.m we’re talking about weight management. Rachel Liu will be in discussion with dietician Winsy Leung.
