Coming up on Brunch on Wednesday, 26th August, with Shazia Awan-Scully, we’re looking at two very different ways of seeing the world - through the screen and through the camera.

We’ll find out why Niu Lai - a Chinese animated film - has become an unlikely viral sensation, with Radio 3’s Rachel Liu joining us for a lighthearted chat about what makes a film so irresistible on the internet.

And after 11, we’ll take to the skies above Hong Kong with award-winning photographer Derry Ainsworth. Derry has picked up 5 international photography awards and was recently named Architecture Photographer of the Year at the 2026 European Photography Awards, where his Hong Kong From Above series earned 12 awards. He’s also been named Architecture Photographer of the Year at the 2026 MUSE Photography Awards.
