On Thursday’s Brunch with Noreen, we're bringing you '講。香港'/ ‘Talk about Hong Kong.’ At 10.10, Tanya Chou will talk about the "Wukong Phenomenon." After 11, we're going to hear an excerpt of last week's Lion Rockers with Professor Malik Peiris, reknowned virologist and the Chair Professor of Virology at the School of Public Health at the University of Hong Kong. Professor Peiris was the first person to isolate the SARS virus in 2003 and he talks about how he actually wanted to be an astronaut when he was a young boy. Welcome to Friday's Brunch with Noreen. At 10.10 we'll hear an excerpt from last week's episode of Lion Rockers with Sally Lo, the founder of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund who shares her personal journey and how she used the Lion Rock spirit to overcome challenges. After 10.30am we head to one of our favourite OSC annual events, the White Christmas Street Fair organised by Swire's Winter Wonderland. Carol Mang talks to the group's CEO Tim Blackburn about the chocolate themed party last night. After 11 we're talking about breast cancer support with Dr Polly Cheung, the Founder of the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, a charity dedicated to breast cancer education, patient support, research and advocacy. And finally at 11.40 we'll return to Operation Santa Claus and hear about the Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation — a charity dedicated to empowering young people and promoting a more inclusive society. Saadia Usmani met up with Dan Cheung Lok Kan, the Co-Founder and Chief Catalyst, and one of the beneficiaries, Alysha Bibi, who is a final year Bachelor of Journalism student at Hong Kong University.
