Brunch with Noreen is packed full of radio goodness. We've got human interest stories, social issues, wellness, the latest on what’s happening around Hong Kong, and plenty of your favourite music.
It's Monday's Brunch with Noreen, and we start with Trash Talk at 10.10. This week on Trash Talk, Marcy Trent Long speaks with CHOMP’s founder and CEO Carla Martinesi about their latest The Rescued Feast, which turns food surplus and scraps into delicious gourmet meals. At 11.10, we're joined by Saadia Usmani for this week's 'Chinwag'. Today we're talking about shiny things and why people are attracted to them (there's a bit of evolutionary history to this). On Thursday’s Brunch with Noreen, we're bringing you '講。香港'/ ‘Talk about Hong Kong.’ At 10.10, Tanya Chou will talk about the "Wukong Phenomenon." After 11, we're going to hear an excerpt of last week's Lion Rockers with Professor Malik Peiris, reknowned virologist and the Chair Professor of Virology at the School of Public Health at the University of Hong Kong. Professor Peiris was the first person to isolate the SARS virus in 2003 and he talks about how he actually wanted to be an astronaut when he was a young boy.
