“Two-Gun” Cohen was a Polish-born British-Canadian adventurer who became the bodyguard to Dr Sun Yat-sen. In this episode first broadcast in 2019, historian Mark O’Neill tells the story of how this young delinquent earned the nickname “Two-Gun”, rose to protect the founding father of the Republic of China, and later became a guest of Chairman Mao.
