主持人：Paul Haswell and Carolyn Wright
Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.
Celebrating the start of the year of the rabbit, Paul and Carolyn are back for a festive edition of the Sunday Escape. There’s brand new music from Arlo Parks, The National, Priestgate, and CMAT, amongst the many new releases. Plus, there’ll be tracks from some of the week’s new albums, which include LPs from The Murder Capital, Guided By Voices and Ladytron. There’ll be plenty of not so new music too, including a tribute to legendary musician David Crosby who sadly passed away this week. That’s all joined by the usual features, including a song from a band who never made it big but highlighted the challenge of having a crush on someone who works in a record shop, the debut song from a famous Madchester band, and of course another Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz. All that plus biscuits!
Tune in from 9am to 1pm.
