Mark Rawson - Brewed in HK / Danny Hicks - Sports and All

Welcome to Thursday on The Brew. Coming up after the mid-day news, it is time for 'Brewed in HK' with Mark Rawson, bringing us music from more of Hong Kong's top bands and artists. Plus, he will be giving us a special look ahead to 'H2 FEST 2026' which kicks off this Sunday! It is the 15th edition of the grassroots live music festival, taking over The Wanch for eight nights, and featuring 76 local acts. Then, at 1:25, we have a slight change to our normal schedule, as Chef Jason is busy, and tomorrow is a holiday for Danny Hicks. Join him today for 'Sports and All', with the latest drama from the World Cup, including (of course!) England's wild 4 - 2 victory over Croatia. Danny will also be live on Facebook, where we'd love to hear from you.

Philippe Dova - Live from Singapore / Paul Archibald - Classical music day

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Welcome to Wednesday on The Brew. Our NYC correspondent Tracy Quan's having a 'night' off this week. So, at 12:40, RTL France's Philippe Dova is back with us live from Singapore, playing some classic French songs all about the summer heat. He has just returned from France, which is currently sweating through a historic heat dome that saw parts of the country hit 36°C yesterday - an unseasonal spring scorcher that even shattered records over in London. Finally, it's 'classical' music day at 1:25, as Paul Archibald joins us from Bangkok - where the temperature is a positively refreshing 35°C today - to dive into the wild world of the Russian composer Alexander Scriabin. If you think your life has high drama, wait until you hear his music. This is a man who didn't just write 'big'... he genuinely believed his compositions could trigger a literal cosmic apocalypse!
