Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
It’s Thursday on The Brew. At 12:10 it’s Brewed in HK, with tracks chosen by Mark Rawson today. More original music from Hong Kong’s bands and artists, including brand new releases from Houseplants, Flare, and Cornelia. At 1:25 it’s 'Sports and All Extra' with Danny Hicks. You’ll get two this week as it’s the Link Hong Kong Open. The US$2 million Asian Tour event is on at the Hong Kong Golf Club, and the first round is already under way. Danny is live from Fanling with the latest. Join him on Facebook live if you can.

Happy Friday, and welcome to The Brew. At 12:10 it’s Marshy Movie Time, as James Marsh rummages through the week’s hits, misses and whatever else crawled out of the multiplex, including Hope, Practical Magic 2, and Once Upon a Time in the Middle East. Then at 1:25 it’s 'Sports and All' with Danny Hicks. The Asian Games in Japan officially start next week, but basketball is already tipping off in Nagoya. The US Open women’s semis are on in New York, Formula 1 takes to a brand new, slightly mad circuit in Madrid, and there’s Premier League and Champions League football too.
