It’s Thursday on The Brew. At 12:10 it’s Brewed in HK, with tracks chosen by Mark Rawson today. More original music from Hong Kong’s bands and artists, including brand new releases from Houseplants, Flare, and Cornelia. At 1:25 it’s 'Sports and All Extra' with Danny Hicks. You’ll get two this week as it’s the Link Hong Kong Open. The US$2 million Asian Tour event is on at the Hong Kong Golf Club, and the first round is already under way. NATIONAL DAY - 1/10/2026 - James Ross in for the Holiday Brew from 10-2, and we kick-off with our New York correspondent John Terrett who updates us on the markets overnight and... we hear about a shark spotted swimming down a flooded street in New Jersey! Then at 1040 we preview today's National Day Races at Shatin with Andrew Harding, Executive Director of Racing at the HKJC Hong Kong Jockey Club. After 11 we hear about the upcoming Joy of Music Festival, from organiser Andrew Freris about the variety of events, competitions and performances from 12th-18th October. After 12 Mark Rawson joins us for Brewed in Hong Kong, and we've music from HK artistes as diverse as Joya, Almond Milk, Synicist, Cracklebox, and Sanjay. Plus the best in music until 2pm.
