Use of AI psychotherapy on the Chinese mainland

    Presenters:Chloe Feng and Brian Wong

We all know AI can write reports, plan trips, and even build a workout routine. But can it heal your mind? On the Chinese mainland, more people - young and old - are turning to chatbots for emotional support. These virtual therapists are available 24/7, endlessly patient, and totally judgement-free. But critis warn AI can misread emotions. And can it ever replace the human touch?

To find out, Chloe Feng and Brian Wong speaks to Dr Amos Cheung, the president of the Hong Kong Psychological Society.
