From the 2025 Schwetzingen SWR Festival we’ll hear the Quartet’s version of Dvořák's American string quartet. Erwin Schulhoff, who felt close to Dada, Communism and jazz, was very fond of the saxophone, and so the arrangement of his ‘Five Pieces for String Quartet, Op. 14’ is just as fitting as the tonal re-dedication of Ástor Piazzolla's ‘Suite del Ángel’.

The Signum Saxophone Quartet has redefined what it means to be a modern classical ensemble. With their innovative arrangements, diverse collaborations, and a willingness to cross musical boundaries, they leave audiences in awe. As they continue to push boundaries, the quartet has not only enriched the classical music landscape but has invited music lovers to experience the saxophone's endless possibilities. Their journey is a reminder of the power of music to transcend genres and connect us all.

適格林薩克管四重奏重新定義了現代古典樂團的面貌。憑藉創新的改編詮釋、多元的跨界合作，以及勇於突破音樂疆界的精神，他們的演出總能令觀眾驚嘆不已。在不斷追求突破的過程中，該團不僅豐富了古典音樂的版圖，更引領樂迷探索薩克管無窮無盡的可能性。他們的音樂旅程，正是音樂跨越樂種、將人心緊緊相連這一力量的最佳印證。

在這場來自 2025 年施韋青根音樂節的演出，我們將欣賞到適格林薩克管四重奏重新詮釋德伏扎克的《美國四重奏》。另外，深受達達主義、共產主義及爵士樂影響的作曲家舒爾荷夫，生前對薩克管情有獨鍾，因此將其《為弦樂四重奏而寫的五首樂曲，作品 14》改編演出，跟重新詮釋皮亞蘇拉那充滿音色張力的《天使組曲》，同樣顯得相得益彰。
