2026 marks the 95th birthday anniversary and the 30th anniversary of the passing of Peng Xiuwen, a towering figure in modern Chinese orchestral music - a trailblazer of 20th-century Chinese music whose output not only laid the artistic foundation for the modern Chinese orchestra, but also propelled it onto the international stage. On this occasion, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra pays tribute showcasing Peng’s original compositions and timeless arrangements, recapturing the grandeur of his works and honouring his enduring legacy with guest musicians from China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra.
2026年為中國現代民族管弦樂一代宗師彭修文誕辰九十五周年暨逝世三十周年紀念。作為二十世紀中國音樂的重要開拓者，彭修文畢生致力推動民族管弦樂的發展，其創作與改編作品奠定現代中樂團的藝術基礎，並將中國民族管弦樂推向國際舞台。香港中樂團特別策劃本場紀念音樂會，除精選彭修文的原創作品及經典改編，還特邀彭修文生前執棒的中國廣播民族樂團的演奏家代表參與演出，重現其恢宏磅礴的音樂風采，向這位一代大師的卓越藝術成就及深遠影響致以崇高敬意。

Only those who renounce love can harness the golden ring’s power. Das Rheingold, the opening of Richard Wagner’s monumental cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen, launches a dark tale of power and its abuse, love and intrigue. Wagner’s music depicts the dramatic action as vividly as it does the protagnoists’ inner conflicts. With a staged performance of Das Rheingold, the Berlin Philharmonic and Kirill Petrenko opened the Salzburg Easter Festival. Christian Gerhaher makes his role debut as Wotan, the troubled god in charge.
唯有棄絕愛意者，方能駕馭金環之無上力量。《萊茵河的黃金》乃華格納鉅作《尼伯龍的指環》之序章，揭開一段交織著濫權、愛恨與陰謀的暗黑史詩。華格納以極具戲劇張力的音樂，不僅細膩刻畫舞台上的情節發展，更深刻描繪人物內心的矛盾與掙扎。柏林愛樂在指揮奇里爾．佩特連高的帶領下，以舞台形式演出《萊茵河的黃金》，為薩爾斯堡復活節音樂節隆重揭幕。男中音葛哈爾首度飾演眾神之王胡坦，演繹這位身負重任而飽受內心衝突折磨的神祇。
