Jonathan Fournel has had a phenomenal career to date, crowned with awards, including four prizes at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2021. Here, he gives an overview of his repertoire, affirming his close connection with Brahms with the infinitesimal nuances of the autumn landscapes of the Intermezzi; Liszt's Sonata in b minor, a drama of all possibilities; and Bach's Italian Concerto BWV 971. He also plays Szymanowski’s Variations on a Polish Folk Theme, Op. 10 that draws its theme from the tune On the Music of Podhale.
方尼爾至今的演奏生涯成就斐然，屢獲殊榮，當中包括在2021年伊利沙伯王后國際音樂比賽中勇奪四項大獎。在今場音樂會中，他將展現其極具深度的演奏曲目：以布拉姆斯《間奏曲》中尤如秋日景致般細緻入微的音色變化來彰顯他與這位音樂巨匠的深厚淵源；隨後演繹李斯特充滿戲劇張力與無限可能的《B小調鋼琴奏鳴曲》；以及那彷彿展現整個管弦樂團氣勢的巴赫《意大利協奏曲》（作品BWV 971）。此外，他亦會帶來史曼諾夫斯基根據民歌《波德哈萊的音樂》創作的《波蘭民歌主題變奏曲》（作品 10）。
