The wisdom of Traditional Chinese medicine is vast and profound. Since the Government Chinese Medicines Testing Institute began operations in 2017, it has been dedicated to developing testing methods for Chinese herbal medicines and establishing reference standards. Following the completion and phased opening of its permanent building in Tseung Kwan O, the Institute's services will be further enhanced to promote high-quality Traditional Chinese medicine development and serve as a vital pivot for Traditional Chinese medicine to go international.

The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong

Hong Kong has been consistently promoting the heritage and development of Traditional Chinese medicine. With the establishment of Hong Kong's first Chinese medicine hospital, it is expected to achieve breakthroughs in medical care, teaching, and research, striving to create a "Hong Kong model" for integrated Chinese and Western medicine. Supported by the Central and SAR Governments, the hospital works to enhance Traditional Chinese medicine development, positioning Hong Kong as a bridgehead for Traditional Chinese medicine to reach the global stage.
